Six Students of LPU have joined LPU's Partner Foreign Universities in UK & Australia to complete other half of Twinning-Programme

In order to fulfill internationalization strategy, Lovely Professional University has collaborated with various universities and institutes across the globe for students favouring collaborative research and education programmes. Under this, after completing first half of relevant Twinning Programmes of MBA and B Sc Hospitality at LPU, its six students joined partner foreign universities- Central Queensland University, Australia; University of Sunderland, UK and University of West London, UK, in the month of September 2011, to complete their other half from there. On successful completion of their programmes, they will get qualifying Degrees from these Partner Foreign Universities.

Informing more, the Pro Chancellor of the University, Ms Rashmi Mittal said: "Our University has, both academic and non-academic, partnerships and tie- ups with world class foreign universities and institutes across the globe, including USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Brazil, Poland and Ghana. We desire to cultivate collaborative relationships, particularly, in regard to student exchange, articulation of particular programmes, faculty exchange, specific joint research areas etc." Continuing she said: "As such, University has 'Twinning Programmes' which allow a student to complete part of studies at LPU and the remaining with its partner foreign university. And, after successful completion of the programme or as defined in the agreement, such a student gets entitled to receive degree from the concerned foreign partner University. We have more than 25 Partners across the globe with similar arrangements."

It is illustrative that these Twinning Programmes are of much importance and value for a foreign aspiring student. A student chooses the right path through these to study in the country of his/her dreams, instead of getting ruined in wrong hands. He /She gets globally mature enough to exist prominently in the current scenario learning latest trends and techniques from the top Universities of the world. Moreover, the fee structure for such a programme is far less in comparison to getting direct admission in a foreign university. As such, LPU is providing the students an opportunity to get exposed to learning methods and cultures across the globe to emerge as professionals with ability to cross cultural situations. These enable students to have qualitative education for bright settlement in life. The best benefit of a twinning programme is the potential of foreign placement for a student aiming career in MNC or global organization.
